Tico Byte for March, 2016

Hello, PC Club members,

The 3rd Saturday is coming up again this weekend already. And we're back to our normal schedule. The PC Club meeting will be on March 19th this month, at the Pan American School in Belen  starting at 9 AM. Coffee, snacks, and conversation will be available, as usual, at 8:30.  Bring anything computer-related that you have questions about or would like to share with the group.

  1. Chuck will open the meeting and preside over club business.
    1. Ken will welcome guests and new members.

    2. Ken's Treasurer's report:  $2103 in the treasury, with 42 paid members. Members can log in and view the details under "Club Business - Financials" on the club website.

    3. Ken will be accepting purchases of Lenny's book, Feasting in Costa Rica's Central Valley, for ₡2,500 each (only 2 left). Lenny has a new book out called, Foods That Amuse and Confuse. (For example, did you know that "Bombay Duck" is a fish dish?)

    4. Several club members went to a memorial service last month for former member Jerry Putnam. Two of Jerry's children and members of Maya's family were there also.

    5. Chuck will ask if there is any new club business.

  2. Chuck will moderate the microphone going around the room to hear your news and questions.

  3. Coffee break
  4. Topics of interest

    1. Dick, Tio, Bill, and Chuck will sit as a panel and answer questions about Windows 10.

    2. Ken will present an introduction to Evernote.

  5. Helen will ask for future topics and presenters: Tell us what you want to know about.

  6. Here are some highlights in the Web News recently:

Bring your questions to the meeting,

Dick Sandlin
